Reminding our kids to be kind every day even when others are not. We can only decide how we will act and we choose kindness.

Keeping Kindness in Mind

Keeping Kindness in Mind

Our families are passionate about teaching our children how kindness and empathy can change the world.  But our children are learning... and don't always remember to be kind.  They need reminders.  EVERY SINGLE DAY.  And so do we.

Here are a few of the reminders I try to give my family every week.

Be kind to your family, they love you and will always be here for you.

Be kind to your friend, even if she isn’t being as kind as you’d like her to be.  You never know what might be going on in her home.

Be kind to someone at school or church, that may need a friend. Be the one to include them.

Be kind when you talk about others.  It says more about you when you speak poorly of others, that it does about them.

Be kind when you talk about to your teacher, even if you are upset about all of the homework she gave you. She wants to help you be your best.

Be kind to yourself, because you are incredible just as you are today.  Keep doing your best.

When we learn to believe the best in people and serve them regardless of how they treat us, we can truly make a huge impact on the world around us.

Let's go be kind.
